Hans Schellenberg Foundation
The "Hans Schellenberg Foundation" or “Vereinigung Diplomierter Hoteliers Restaurateure SHV & Hotelmanager NDS HF (VDH)” (Association of qualified hoteliers, restaurateurs and hotel managers) supports students of the NDS hotel management school with an interest-free loan. Tourism region of Zurich
Young professionals who are doing a full-time vocational baccalaureate (BM 2) can apply for a loan, thanks to a joint initiative of Zürich Hoteliers and GastroZürich. Deadline is at least four months before the semester begins. Further information:

Canton of Valais Valais
hoteliers with an operating license and their employees are entitled to participate in ritzy* seminars free of charge. Financial support is also provided for courses outside the canton if they are organised by hotelleriesuisse, GastroSuisse or Hotel & Gastro formation (and not ritzy*). Claims for a daily allowance of up to 150 SFr can be made. Prior application is compulsory if the training lasts 3 days or longer or costs more than 500 SFr.
