SHA Diploma

The three-year study courses offered by SHA Affiliate Schools are all quality-checked and approved by SHA. In addition to the respective school’s final diploma, you will also receive the hotelleriesuisse diploma (SHA Diploma).

The training will equip you with a sound basis for a fascinating career in international hospitality. The courses are complemented by work placements of varying duration, so that the students can gain practical experience.

  • Target audience

    Young people who have completed a vocational apprenticeship in the hospitality and catering sector and who are interested in an international career.

  • Requirements

    Swiss federally recognized academic baccalaureate or federal VET diploma (EFZ). English language knowledge of at least level B1 of the European Framework of Reference for Languages (e.g. IELTS 6.0 Academic).

    GATE: SHA Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management

    YHI: SHA Diploma in Culinary Technique, F&B Service Operations or Room Division Administration

  • Graduate Work Visa (Australia)

    Graduates who have either studied or worked in Australia for a minimum of two years and acquired a recognized Australian diploma can apply for a two-year Graduate Work Visa for Australia.

Upon completion of the three year course at the ICHM in Australia, you have the opportunity to study for one more year in order to attain the Bachelor of International Hotel Management (Swiss Hotel Association).
